Location and Travel:
This role can be located in Texas or in the Southeast US.
Travel: Ability to travel nationwide at times on short notice for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide supervision for all field activities, including assisting Field Managers in planning and executing scopes of work.
Manage manpower resources and ensure compliance with all Knight Electric safety, quality, and productivity standards across all projects.
Perform plan reviews and provide feedback on constructability, offer ideas for value engineering, and assist with installation planning and layout.
Engage internal teams to facilitate the planning, design, and installation of prefabricated assemblies.
Perform quantity takeoffs and assist project teams with material procurement, delivery schedules, and material staging plans.
Collaborate with internal teams to establish initial project goals and monitor progress on an ongoing basis to ensure success.
Perform productivity analyses across all projects using the Knight Electric Productive Jobsite Program tools.
Assist project teams with building and maintaining CPM schedules as well as short-term look-ahead schedules and ensure that activities are consistently completed within prescribed durations.
Constantly evaluate performance of all field personnel; assess training needs and ensure that all training objectives are met.
Monitor man hours at the task level and provide guidance to Field Managers to ensure that scopes of work are completed within the budgeted hours.
Collaborate with clients’ field leadership teams as needed to ensure successful execution of projects and to resolve any project-specific challenges.
Monitor overall company backlog and maintain appropriate workforce levels accordingly.
Position Requirements:
Minimum (10) years in the electrical field
Minimum (5) years in a Superintendent role
Management of $10-20 Million scopes of work
OSHA 30 Certification
NFPA 70E Certification
Active Journeyman/Masters License
Compensation:
This role will have a salary and bonus compensation package between $135,000 and $170,000.
